NOTE 1: An SMS message can contain a maximum of 160 characters – if you enter more characters the text will be truncated on multiple SMS messages.
NOTE 2: Remove your email signature since these are part of the text and are included in your message!
2. Select recipient of the SMS message in the To: field, using SMTP addressing in the following format: number@smsmaker.com. e.g: 234123918@smsmaker.com.
NOTE: This method of addressing requires that your mail server has been configured to forward all mails sent to smsmaker.com to the GFI FAXmaker fax server. Refer to the user manual for the procedure to do this as has been described for Lotus Notes and for Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 and is similar for all other mail servers.
3. When you are ready, click on the Send button. FAXmaker will now send the SMS. Soon after you will receive a report on whether the SMS was sent successfully or not.
