Creating a share on a non Windows NT server (95,Novell, Linux)

If your file server is not running Windows NT, you will have to create a directory on the Novell or Linux file server and share it for all FAXmaker users. You should create a drive mapping to this shared file area so that all users will have access to this directory.

You will have to point the FAXmaker MTA to this directory. To do this:

  1. In the FAXmaker User configuration, click Setup > MTA Configuration:

Here you will see a setting where you can set the Mailbox base directory: Enter the path to the mailbox base directory here.
