FAXmaker Requirements Before you install FAXmaker, please ensure that you meet all the requirements mentioned below. FAXmaker fax server: A Windows 2000 or XP machine with at least 64 MB memory and a 200 MHz Pentium. The machine does not need to be dedicated to FAXmaker. You can run the FAXmaker server on the file server (providing your file server is running Windows XP/NT/2000). FAXmaker requires very little resources or processing time. One of the following fax devices: A supported fax board, active ISDN card or fax modem. FAXmaker supports all modems that have Microsoft fax modem drivers. However, a quality class 2 fax modem is still recommended. Ι FAXmaker supports modem sharing in Windows 2000 only. FAXmaker client: Windows XP, 2000, Windows 95/98/ME or Windows NT Server/ Workstation 4.0.
