Example: Configuring MS Access as Database Source

In this example we will assume that your GFI LANguard N.S.S. stores scan results to an MS Access database and that this database file is located in a shared folder called `LNSS data' on a remote server called `Security Server'.

Configuring MS Access as Database Source to generate a default report:

1. Click on the Options navigation button.

2. Right-click on the Database Source node and select Set Database Source....

3. Select the `MS Access' option and specify the UNC path as follows: \\Security Server\LNSS Data\scanresults.mdb.

4. Click OK to save your settings and close the dialog.
