The LANguard S.E.L.M. monitor – Operational history
The Operational History tab shows the list of recently scanned computers and the results of their scans on the security event log. Both the scan start date & time and stop time are displayed as well as messages indicating whether the scan completed successfully or whether a particular problem was encountered which prevented LANguard S.E.L.M. from scanning the security event log.
For e.g. if the computer you are trying to scan is not switched on then the RPC service will fail to connect. At connection failure LANguard S.E.L.M. will inform you that the scan failed together with the reason for e.g. "[WARNING] : Event Log Records could NOT be retrieved : The RPC server is unavailable." as can be seen in the screen shot below.

Double clicking on an entry in the operational history page will bring up a dialog containing the information related to that scan in a more detailed and readable view.
