Switching between the main and backup database
The GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. archiver agent stores all events in a database. You can backup older events from the main database to a backup database to keep your main database compact.
Switching between the main database and the backup database
You can still use the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. Event Viewer to filter, view, analyze and manipulate the event records contained in the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. backup database.
To switch between the main and the backup database:
1. In the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. Event Viewer, right click on the root node.
2 Select between the main database and the backup database accordingly.
