Switching between the main and backup database
The GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. archiver agent stores all events in a database. You can backup older events from the main database to a backup database to keep your main database compact.
Switching between the main database and the backup database
You can still use the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. Reporter to filter, view, analyze and generate reports on the events contained in the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. backup database. To do this you need to switch to the backup database.
To switch between the main and the backup database:
1. In the GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. Reporter, right click on the root node.
2 Select between the main database and the backup database accordingly.
