Default scan job & files monitored

After installation, GFI LANguard S.I.M. will have created a default scan job, which monitors key windows system files and will notify you of changes.

NOTE : for the BETA on installation the default scan job is disabled. You will be required to manually enable it by:

  1. Launch the LANguard S.I.C. configuration
  2. > Scan Jobs > Default Scan Job > Properties
  3. > Schedule.

You can further modify properties for this scan job by right-clicking on the default scan job in the scan jobs node. You can modify the subject of the mail alert which is sent and you can modify the interval at which LANguard FIC should check for changes.

You can check what files the default scan job monitors by going to the files monitored node and clicking on the button 'Show all files'. All files that are monitored will be listed.
