General configuration The general node allows you to configure general settings. To configure general settings, high light the general node, right click and select properties. This will bring up the general properties dialog. General properties dialog – mail server settings Mail server settings You can configure the mail server settings in the general tab. Enter the mail server name and mail server port which is to be used to send out the alerts. General properties dialog – Excluded Extension list Excluded extensions The excluded extensions tab allows you to configure which file types LANguard S.I.M. should not monitor. By default LANguard S.I.M. ships with a list of files which normally do not need to be monitored. If you wish to change the default list you can do so by adding or deleting an excluded extension.
