Installation Procedure

  1. Run the LANguard S.I.M. setup program by double clicking on the lansim.exe file. Confirm that you wish to install LANguard System Integrity Monitor. The set-up wizard will start. Click Next.
  2. Set-up will ask to check if there is a later version on the Internet. We recommend that you always use the latest build.
  3. Now close other Windows programs and click Next. In the License agreement dialog box, click Yes to accept the agreement and continue the installation.
  4. Choose the destination location and click Next. LANguard S.I.M. will need approximately 8-10 MB of free hard disk space.
  5. Set-up will prompt you for an email address & mail server name to be able to send notifications.
  6. Set-up will now copy the files. Once ready, it will automatically launch the configuration of LANguard S.I.M.

You can also run the GFI LANguard S.I.M configuration from the start menu.
