Configuring GFI MailArchiver

Introduction to the Configuration

When the GFI MailArchiver installation completes, you need to configure some settings, such as from where do you want to archive emails, who do you need to exclude from the archiving process and in which archive store do you want to store archived emails, amongst others.

To access the GFI MailArchiver configuration, follow these steps:

1. Click Start } All Programs } GFI MailArchiver } GFI MailArchiver to load the GFI MailArchiver configuration in Internet Explorer.

2. When prompted for a user name and password, type in the username and password of an account that has administrative privileges, to access the GFI MailArchiver configuration.

3. Click any of the nodes listed under the GFI MailArchiver } Configuration node, to configure and view the current settings for that node.
