Configuring General settings
From the General Settings configuration page, you can specify the administrator email address and the SMTP server and port number GFI MailArchiver should use to send administrative notification emails and when restoring emails to a mailbox through OneClick Restore.
To configure the general settings, follow these steps:
1. Load the GFI MailArchiver Configuration as shown in the `Introduction to the Configuration' section earlier in this chapter.
2. Click on the GFI MailArchiver } Configuration } General Settings node, in the left navigation pane.

3. Type the administrator email address in the Administrator Email Address box.
4. Specify the SMTP server name or IP address in the SMTP Server box. Specify the SMTP server port number in the Port Number box.
5. Click Save Settings.
