Re-configuring an archive store

NOTE: When you choose to re-configure an archive store, you cannot change the type of the archive store. For example, if the archive store uses Microsoft SQL Server, you cannot change it to Firebird. All the other settings are re-configurable.

If you want to change the settings of an archive store, follow these steps:

1. Load the GFI MailArchiver configuration as shown in the ‘Introduction to the Configuration’ section earlier in this chapter.

2. Click on the GFI MailArchiver > Configuration > Archive Stores node or GFI MailArchiver > Configuration > Archive Stores Management node, in the left navigation pane.

3. From the table, click the button to the right of the archive store you want to re-configure, to display the Archive Store Wizard. Use the wizard as outlined in the earlier sections of this chapter that showed you how to configure an archive store. Select the appropriate section basing yourself on the type of archive store you are re-configuring.

4. When you finish and close the wizard, click Save Settings.
