Removing an archive store

If you want to remove an archive store from the Archive Stores or Archive Stores Management pages, follow these steps:

NOTE: When you remove an archive store from the configuration, GFI MailArchiver will not delete the information associated with the archive store. Thus, the following information is retained: archived emails metadata, archived emails compressed binary sources and search index information.

1. Load the GFI MailArchiver configuration as shown in the ‘Introduction to the Configuration’ section earlier in this chapter.

2. Click on the GFI MailArchiver > Configuration > Archive Stores node or GFI MailArchiver > Configuration > Archive Stores Management node, in the left navigation pane.

3. From the table, click the button to the right of the archive store you want to remove.

4. Click Save Settings.
