Introduction In this chapter we will discuss Mail configuration options of Mail essentials. These options are different in some cases for the Windows NT or Windows 2000 versions, since the NT version of Mail essentials uses its own SMTP server, whereas the Windows 2000 version of Mail essentials uses the Windows 2000 SMTP service. The POP3 downloader & dial up options are identical though. We'll discuss those first.
