Running the User synchronisation Wizard
Step 1: When the Wizard is started you are presented with the initial welcome screen. Click on Next to Continue. On the next page of the Wizard, you are asked to enter the details of the Domain Controller on which the Administrative Groups can be found. The wizard will also ask you for an administrator account. You can specify an account or domain, or use the currently logged in ones. Be sure that it is an administrator account!

Confirming settings
Step 2: You will now be asked to confirm your entries you specified. Check 'Confirm settings' and select Next. . It is important to ensure that these are correct since the Administrative Group Synchronization process can take some time.

Checking for available administrative groups
Step 3: The wizard will now retrieve a list of administrative groups. When it has done so, you can select from which administrative groups you wish to retrieve the users.
NOTE: the number of Administrative Groups which can be selected depends upon the license key which was purchased. To be able to select multiple administrative groups you would have to have a multi-site license. The number of Administrative Groups which can be selected is also specified at the bottom of the page. You will be notified when the limit has been reached.

Once all the Administrative Groups from which to retrieve users have been selected, click on Next to continue and retrieve the list of users.

Mail essentials synchronising users
The synchronization wizard cannot be cancelled on this page. Synchronization has to complete, before you can cancel the wizard.
Step 4: After User synchronisation has taken place, Mail essentials will now start a number of services. If any services were stopped during the initial stages of the Wizard, then those services will be restarted too. Click the Next button to complete the synchronization process. Once the required services are started, you are will be shown a dialog indicating the successful completion of the User synchronisation wizard.
