Archive mail to database

You can periodically move email archived to the text log file to an Access or SQL database of your choice. By default GFI MailEssentials include a sample access database, to which you can archive mail. To do this:

1. In the GFI MailEssentials configuration, highlight the archiving node, right click and select properties. This brings up the Mail Archiving properties dialog.

2. Now click on the move button. The Archive to Database dialog will appear. Here you can specify a database name to which the mail should be archived. Click 'Transfer' to start moving the mail from the text file to the database.
