Configuring GFI MailEssentials reporter

Before you can create reports, you have to import the GFI MailEssentials log data to the reporter database. To do this go to Tools > Import logs and specify the location of the send, receive and spam log files. The logs are found in the MailEssentials\logs directory. Specify the logs by clicking on the `...' button. Click OK to start importing the data. When the import is complete, you can start to generate reports.

Note: GFI MailEssentials creates a new send and receive log file at the end of each month. Therefore, at the end of each month, you have to specify the new log file name.

Each time before you generate reports, you must update the reporter database with the latest log data by going to the Import log dialog and clicking import.
