Configuring the Email exploit engine

Disabling email exploits

You can configure which exploits GFI MailSecurity should check for. For example, some exploits might not apply to your network, in which case you can disable checking for them. You can disable an exploit check by going to the exploit engine node and right clicking on the exploit in the right pane, and selecting disable.

You can disable all exploits by disabling the email exploit engine. To do this right click on the email exploit engine node and select `disable engine'.

You can configure what GFI MailSecurity should do with an email that contains an email exploit. You can either quarantine or delete the e-mail. You can change this setting by right-clicking on the exploit engine node, and selecting properties.
