Introduction to the Decompression engine

The Decompression engine is used to decompress and analyze archives attached to an email.

The following is a list of archive filters included in the decompression engine:

Check password protected archives
Check corrupted archives
Check for recursive archives
Check size of uncompressed files in archives
Check for amount of files in archives
Scan within archives

Each of the above listed filters is configured separately. This means that you can specify what each decompression filter should do with emails containing particular archives. In addition you can also select the actions that must be triggered by each filter whenever an email containing a particular archive is detected and blocked (e.g. send email notifications).
