Configuring decompression filter actions

To configure the actions to be performed whenever a particular filter blocks emails containing archives:

1. Click on the Decompression node in the Console Root and from the right window, select the required filter.

2. Click on the Actions tab and select any of the following actions:

Notify user - Select this option to send email notifications to the recipient whenever an inbound email containing an archive is quarantined. If this filter blocks an outbound email, the notification is then sent to the sender.
Notify Administrator - Select this option to send email notifications to the administrator whenever an email containing an archive is quarantined.
Log occurrence to file - Select this option to log the event whenever the selected decompression filter blocks an email. In the File name of log file edit box, specify the name of a text file where these logs will be saved. E.g. PwordArchive.txt.

3. Click on the Apply button to confirm your settings.
