This article explains how to set up a rule to disable or send responses to any 'read receipt' requests in Microsoft Office 365 Mailbox.
Follow these steps to disable:
- Log in into Microsoft Office 365 using the journal mailbox user account.
- Go to the Outlook tab.
- Select the Settings icon.
- Click Options.
- Click Settings.
- Under read receipts, select Never send a response.
- Click save.
