This article provides the steps to change a particular user's fax receiving settings to use GFI FaxMaker Online Client Tool.
If a GFI FaxMaker Online user elects to use the GFI FM Online Client Tool for downloading faxes, their account administrator will have to make a change to the Fax receiving Settings using the following steps.
- Log into to the GFI Administrator Portal.
- Locate the User and choose Edit.
- Choose the Fax Tab.
- Use the Fax receive settings drop-down to change the option from "Receive fax using email" to "Use inbound Web Services."
NOTE: Once this change has been made, the customer can still SEND Faxes using their email account; however, all received faxes will need to be downloaded using the GFI FM Online Client. The individual user will also stop receiving Fax status reports. To know the success or failure of a fax, the user's administrator will have to check the sending and receiving reports in the dashboard.
