Overview
All calls to the US or Canada required the inclusion of the Country Code, “1” in addition to the 10-digit local number. With FaxMaker Online, starting Nov 21st, 2015, the prefix is no longer required for North American calls (the United States and Canada).

Update Specifics
After the aforementioned date, FaxMaker Online henceforth assumes that 10-digit fax numbers without the Country Code, “1”, will be designated for domestic US/Canada delivery, and dialed accordingly.
By default, 10-digit fax numbers that are not prefixed with the US / Canada Country Code “1”, will be assumed to be designated for US / Canada delivery. “1” will be added, and dialed accordingly.
Any 10-digit fax number intended for delivery outside of the US or Canada will be assumed to be North American, and “1” will be added to the destination address.
