How to Identify

GFI FaxMaker Message Transfer Agent attempts to initialize the GSM SMS line(s) using its own GSM SMS driver. An error 'Failed to initialize GSM modem. Modem Failed to Respond (timeout)' will be logged in the GSM_COMx.log.

Workaround / Fix Details

Fixed in GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 2 (build 20130606)
