Documents that were generated by a 3rd party application and then printed on to the NetPrintQueue2Fax printer fail to be faxed with the following error:
No recipient found.
This article describes the resolution of this error.
- GFI FaxMaker
Based on the findings, either the document is not supported by NetPrintQueue2Fax or the fax field, including the fax number, was not detected correctly by the GFI FaxMaker configuration.
Open the log file:
Clarify whether the GFI FaxMaker server correctly detected the recipient fax number.
If the recipient fax number is missing in the log file, then the document, which was printed with the NetPrinteQueue2Fax printer, will most likely not be a readable text document.
If the recipient fax number is present in the log file:
Navigate to the GFI FaxMaker configuration > NetPrintQueue2Fax settings.
Check whether the fields Fax number and End of field terminator are set up correctly to match with the fax recipient number.
