PROBLEMWhen scanning Mac OSX, Linux, and Unix computers you may see the following errors in the Scan tab > Scan Thread tab or the Errors tab:
Scan thread tab (when scanning):
Opening connection using root account...
-->Failed to connect (53) The network path was not found.
Collecting OS Information (SMB)...
Read server info...
-->Error (53) The network path was not found
Errors tab (when viewing scan results):

SOLUTIONIt is normal to see these errors.
They are due to the way GFI LanGuard determines the operating system of a target computer.
