Process
Verify If Proxy Is in Use
- To verify if a proxy is used, and which proxy is used, see the article What is my Proxy.
Review Proxy Configuration
- Open Internet Explorer (IE), go to Tools > Internet options.
- Navigate to the Connections > LAN settings to review the configuration.
Proxy settings may be manually specified, or if Automatically Detect Settings is selected, it may be pulling a WPAD (Web Proxy Auto-Discovery) configuration script over the network.
