- Open GFI LanGuard console.
- Click Configuration.
- Expand Scanning Profiles and select the Scanning profile to modify.
- From the right pane, select the scanning profile.
- Click Network & Software Audit Options.
- Remove the checkbox from the port you wish to stop scanning.
Further Information: The checkbox next to the port does not disable that specific port from being scanned. When enabled, GFI LanGuard retrieves the banner on that port.
