GFI LanGuard 2014 will now offer a Consultant Edition in select regions. This allows consultants to purchase a license of GFI LanGuard that allows them to scan a certain number of computers.
- Consultant Edition: The license is set a number of computers that the software can scan. These computers can then be scanned three times each before their license expires. For example, I buy a 100 computer license. I scan 50 computers for a company that is employed my services. I then remediate any problem computers and scan them again. I have 50 computers left to scan for the next company I check out.
- Consultant Plus Edition: This works the same way, but I can reset my 100 computers. So if I have 50 computers to scan at one company, and 75 at another, I can reset my licenses in-between instead of running out.
