How to IdentifySome files are getting corrupted when downloaded with GFI Webmonitor 2015.
It is more noticiable with PDFs, but it can affect other files.
The policies for this files has the option "Download progress windows" enabled.
Disabling this option the download completed fine.
Workaround / Fix DetailsAdvise the user to disable the "Download progress window" option in the policy
Explain to the client that the AV will still scan the files, it is only the download page that will not appear, all the security features will still be in place.
Required ActionsUpgrade to the latest build and make sure the GFi WebMonitor Updates are enabled.
If the issue persists, please collect a set of logs and wireshark from the client.
It is important to know what is the URL, the users and IP of the client machine.
