Using the "move to subfolder" GFI MailEssentials action causes emails to bypass journaling in Exchange and not getting archived via GFI Archiver

How to Identify

The combination of: - running Exchange 2007 or later - using the MailEssentials "move to subfolder" action causes that emails actioned this way are bypassing the Exchange journaling agent and are therefore not archived in GFI Archiver.

WORKAROUND1 Choose another action in ME

Required Actions

1. Attach this article to the case 2. Discuss / implement the workaround with the customer Explain that MTEF utilizes Autodiscover to bypass the rest of Exchange, including Journaling agent.
