OverviewCan live video stream be Edge Cached? or Live video stream is cached but when accessed again it is not fetched locally!
Edge Cache feature supports traffic passing through http port 80 only and stores data that is static (not changed) on the website (Videos, Images etc). Live video stream files changes dynamically and are cached by Edge Cache, However when subsequent requests come for the same material, data will not be fetched from Edge Cache memory due to the fact that the file contents on server has changed.
Edge Cache algorithm establishes conversation with the Server to verify the cached file and when file is not found or changed (as files changes dynamically in Live Stream), Edge Cache starts to cache the new file available on server again & will keep repeating the procedure every time the Live Streaming video is accessed again.
