OverviewSometimes when users have SMBv1 traffic in their network due to a 2003 server or windows XP and lower client, they might face issues with shared files and access.
The issues could be
1. Files open with a message saying it is corrupted
2. Users might not be able to join the file share
3. Files which open might be scrambled
WorkaroundThe workaround for this issue is to disable an option called "read-ahead".
This is found under "System - Optimization - SMB"
When this option is disabled, it resumes normal operations with SMB acceleration enabled
