SummaryThe maximum edge cache object size is 8.0GB as of v6.4.0
OverviewEdge cache, by default, will attempt to capture all possible HTTP traffic. If configured, it will also attempt to do HTTPS caching as well. However, in order to limit the amount of caching done, a maximum object size was placed on the caching engine, meaning that it will not cache objects that are greater than that maximum size. This is to save space in the caching partition and to keep device performance high. Starting in v6.4.0, the maximum object caching size is 8GB (8192 MB). Prior to v6.4.0, the maximum edge cache object size was 4GB.
By default, the size on the Exinda appliance is set to 512KB. This can be changed by navigating to Configuration > System > Optimization, then the "Edge Cache" tab. There is an option for "Max Object Size". It can be increased to be 8192 MB.
