SummaryThere is a bug created in 7.0.3 that causes the AD Service to flood the network with packets and causes the Exinda to perform poorly.
OverviewThe active directory service floods the network and makes the Exinda perform poorly.
CauseThe Active Directory client on the domain connects to the 'add' process running on the Exinda. The add process gets the information, processes it and then, due to a defect, tells the AD client that it needs the information again. The keep alive state for the connection in this situation was not being preserved and thus, neither was the connection. As a result, the AD client would send the information again. In cases where are there are multiple AD Connectors connecting to the Exinda, the problem would be amplified.
WorkaroundDisabling the Active Directory integration will solve this problem.
ResolutionThis bug was fixed in v7.0.3 U1. Updating the firmware to any version newer will include the fix.
