The Rules Manager fails to start and shows the following error message:
Internal Error [Server DN cannot be retrieved]

The Rules Manager makes use of a MAPI profile to be able to access the Microsoft Exchange mailboxes. This error may be caused if the MAPI profile being used is not valid for the Microsoft Exchange Information Store that you are trying to access.
- Close the Rules Manager.
- Browse to the Windows directory (C:\winnt or c:\windows by default).
- Delete the rulemgmt.ini file.
- Restart the Rules Manager. You will be asked for a MAPI profile. It is recommended that you create a new profile for the logged on user.
