Overview
This article provides the process to configure the FaxMaker Client to use WSAPI.
Environment
- GFI FaxMaker 2014 or later.
- GFI FaxMaker client 2013 or later.
Process
During the GFI FaxMaker client installation wizard:
- Select the direct option connection to GFI FaxMaker to send faxes directly to GFI FaxMaker server on the port
8555from GFI FaxMaker client. - Specify the
IP addressorFQDNof the GFI FaxMaker machine and theemail address(where the transmission reports should be delivered).
- After the installation of GFI FaxMaker client, the
IP addressand theportof the GFI FaxMaker can be amended from the user interface of GFI FaxMaker client. Go To View > Options > Connection Tab. Click the button Test connection to verify the specified details of the GFI FaxMaker server. - Click the button OK to save the changes.
