Answer
As of April 8th, 2014 Microsoft will no longer be supporting Windows XP or Office 2003. This means, there will be no new security updates, non-security hotfixes available via Windows Updates from Microsoft for the above listed products. See: Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 Support Ends April 8th, 2014
- When a LanGuard scan is run against these products, there will be no updates
- Oval and CVE Vulnerabilities will still be found and reported on
- Any 3rd party software will still be scanned and that software can be patched via GFI LanGuard
