Problem SummaryWhen performing interactive or scheduled scans of a OU with the "/" character in the name the scan fails with the error 'unspecified error'.

How to Identify1. Customer has a OU with a special character in the name such as "/" in a OU name like "Slash/Dot"
2. An interactive scan or scheduled scan is performed on the OU (ex. Scan Target: ou:OU=Slash/dot,DC=smallville,DC=com)
3. The scan fails the 'Network Discovery' part and produces the error 'Unspecified Error' (ex. 3/12/2013 10:57:51 AM; ; Network discovery; Unspecified error)
Workaround / Fix DetailsAdd the backslash character in front of the special character that is causing the problem.
A patch was published for this issue.
The patch was included in all subsequent versions.
Required ActionsDo a program update or upgrade to the latest version.
