Applies to LanGuard 2012 SR1 and later versionsIn order to scan and install the missing patches successfully on Mac OS X, the application requires the following:
- SSH port (TCP 22): This port is disabled on Mac operating systems by default

- Patch deployment port (TCP 1070 by default): You must allow the traffic between the server and remote computers to run the proper scripts. This can be changed through the LanGuard user interface by doing the following:
- Open LanGuard console
- Go to Configuration tab > Agents Management
- Click Agents Settings
- On the General tab, you can select the communication port for agents management and patches deployment
- "root" user credentials: The superuser account is disabled by default on Mac operating systems.
