How to Identify

Source events is a SQL Server 2014 Logs are showing: 2015-05-07, 11:01:26, 260, 9, 574, 538, info, SQLCollector.dll, SendToMonitor, notification message Failed to initialize object as reader. - Failed to initialize object as reader. 2015-05-07, 11:01:26, 260, 9, 574, 538, info, SQLCollector.dll, StartSQLScan, Trace Server failed to initialize! Trying to re-connect!

Workaround / Fix Details

Copy the trace definition files from an existing SQL 2014 installation to the machine on which GFI EventsManager is running. 1. Copy files from the SQL Server "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\Profiler\TraceDefinitions", 2. Paste the files on the GFI EventsManager server in the following path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Profiler\TraceDefinitions"
