This article provides information on how to license the Microsoft SQL Server for GFI EventsManager.
Environment
EventsManager 2011 and older
Information
Microsoft SQL Server needs to be licensed for all the users who make use of the Microsoft SQL services both directly and indirectly. For GFI EventsManager, the users who would be using Microsoft SQL are the administrators who access the GFI EventsManager interface in order to view the logs or to generate reports.
