- The Archive Assistant can be installed as an Microsoft Outlook add-in to import emails into GFI Archiver
- Manually - Users must initiate archival of items themselves
- Admin controlled - the administrator defines parameters and a schedule to control when and which emails are archived
- Manually import emails from Microsoft Exchange mailboxes or PST files using the server side Import Export Tool when needed
- Use only the File Archive Assistant to archive files (no emails)
