OverviewAfter applying a license on a Virtual Exinda, some may notice that the license will unexpectedly disappear.
CauseExinda might not be able to access the Internet or resolve URLs. We must ensure that all Virtual Exindas are constantly talking to our license database, as this is part of the verification process. This does not apply to Physical appliances.
ResolutionIn order to verify that the Virtual Exinda is communicating with the license database:
1.- Make sure the IP and the default gateway of the Exinda (under System-->Network-->NICs) are configured in such a way that the Exinda can access the Internet.
2.- Make sure DNS is configured properly under Configuration > System > Network > DNS
3.- Make sure that the Exinda can resolve the URL 'license.exinda.com'. Go to Configuration > System > Tools > DNS Lookup
