OverviewOut of path topology refers to the scenario when Exinda is places outside the network and it is able to see network traffic through WCCP or port mirroring.
In out of path topologies, the Exinda is not connected through the lan and wan ports like a typical installation.
Only 2 ports are connected on the Exinda 1> Management 2> WCCP/mirror
This WCCP/mirror port is connected to the router/switch which is sending traffic to the Exinda for QOS and monitoring.
In this topology, the only graphs that are not visible to a user are the interface graphs and the link utilization graphs. The reason being that these graphs count the bytes on the WAN interface to show data. In this scenario, there is no WAN interface, hence no such graphs.
