OverviewWhen the /config directory on the Exinda is nearing its 125MB limit, the following alert may be seen when viewing the System Health (Configuration > System > Diagnostics > System) :
System Health Warning - System Disk Full (disk partitions: /config)
CauseThe /config directory stores all of the text configuration files which are saved on the appliance. Each text configuration file takes around 1.5 to 2MB, and the limit for this directory is 125MB. So, if there are many config files being saved in Configuration > System > Maintenance > Manage Config > Configuration Files, it will trigger this alert. By default, the alert is set to happen when there is less than 7% space free.
ResolutionTo resolve this, config files will need to be removed from Configuration > System > Maintenance > Manage Config > Configuration Files. It may be a good idea to download the files to keep them as a backup before deleting them from the appliance.
If you're still getting the same issue, please contact Exinda Support.
Internal NotesTo resolve it, follow the steps below:
1) Install Restricted commands license key
2) Go to Shell (_shell)
3) Navigate to config/db (cd /config/db)
4) Delete all the files except the ones which are being used as well as the one with the name "Active"
