OverviewWhile by default, Office 365 application definitions work to catch most of the traffic, depending on some services that are used, it is possible to find that some traffic is not caught by the definition. If any of these are showing up as HTTP or HTTPS with the URL in brackets, it is possible to create a custom Application for them by going to Configuration > Objects > Applications.
- The type to be created is to create a new Application based on a Layer 7 definition of 'SSL', with the 'common_name' of one of the above addresses
- One custom application can contain many L7 definitions of type 'SSL', meaning it is possible to put all seen URLs into a singular application. Alternatively, they can be separated to one definition per application.
