Overview
The Exinda can be monitored through Microsoft Systems Center Operation Manager by using SNMP, though native integration does not currently exist.
Information
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is a tool for monitoring information across infrastructure deployments. Things such as network devices, applications, critical server infrastructure can all be monitored by SCOM. This is done through native, built-in abilities to SCOM as well as additional third-party management packs that can be installed. The third-party management packs are created by those companies that create the applications.
Currently, Exinda does not have a management pack to monitor Exindas through SCOM. However, the Exinda has SNMP support built-in, and SCOM can act as an SNMP trap and monitor them. While setting this up is outside the scope of the Exinda, using SNMP monitoring on SCOM can receive any SNMP alerts generated by the Exinda.
