Overview
This article provides information about clearing Edge Cache to remove cached corrupted web content.
When a web page is cached and it gets corrupted, subsequent requests that are fetched from Exinda will be served with a corrupted object.
Root Cause
When an object is cached on the Exinda and a request matches what is in the cache (HTTP HIT), then the request is fulfilled using the object in the cache. Sometimes content is corrupted, so when the page is cached it still has the corruption on it.
Resolution
If you suspect the cache has been corrupted, try the following:
-
Clear Edge Cache:
Go to Configuration > System > Optimization > Edge Cache tab, and click on Clear.
-
If the problem persists, format the Edge Cache partition:
Go to Configuration > System > Setup > Storage tab, and click on the format on the Edge Cache partition.
